Founded in 2010, Fostering Media Connections (FMC) is a nonprofit media organization that publishes journalism to lead the conversation about children, youth and families. Since launching its award-winning online news publication The Imprint in 2013, FMC has published more than 110 stories about child welfare and youth justice in Georgia.
In 2026, Georgia was elevated to 5th for top readership areas on our website with 32,000 active users as of September 2026, a 105% over the previous year.
If there are important, untold stories about foster care and youth justice in your community, we hope you’ll consider supporting FMC. With your help, our reporting can uncover disparities in foster care, examine juvenile justice policies, or track outcomes for children and families, to help communities in Georgia and across the country understand what’s happening where they live.
